New Pricing and a New Operator for VyHub

Dear VyHub community,

there is some big news about how VyHub is priced and about the company behind it. There's a lot to unpack, so let's walk through it together.

No More Revenue Fee

The biggest change first: we are removing the revenue fee entirely. There is no longer any commission or revenue share on the transactions you process through your VyHub shop — you keep 100% of what you earn.

Simple Yearly Plans

We are moving to a straightforward pricing model built around yearly plans, with no hidden costs. Whether you want us to handle everything or prefer running VyHub on your own hardware — there's a plan for you.

VyHub Cloud — we host it for you

Every cloud plan is fully managed: we run and update everything for you. All plans include a free subdomain (or bring your own domain), DDoS protection, automatic updates and security patches, and the full VyHub feature set — the advanced shop, homepage builder, forum system, and bans & warnings.

• Budget — 149 € / year. For small communities: optimized for up to 30 concurrent online players, with up to 3 game/voice servers.
• Plus — 279 € / year. For medium-sized communities: optimized for up to 80 concurrent online players, runs on two cloud servers for high availability, with up to 6 game/voice servers.
• Performance — 499 € / year. For large communities: optimized for 250+ concurrent online players, runs on up to four cloud servers for the highest availability, with no server limit — and no VyHub branding on your page.

Self-Hosted — you stay in control

If you prefer full control over your infrastructure, you can run VyHub yourself with Docker. Every self-hosted license includes the exact same features: unlimited servers & commands, the advanced shop, homepage builder, forum system, custom integrations, and direct database access. The only difference is how long the license runs:

• 1 Year — 199 €. Renews yearly.
• 2 Years — 349 €. Renews every two years — and saves you 49 €.
• Lifetime — 899 €. Pay once, no renewals — run your installation for as long as you like.

Advanced Support — optional add-on

For 199 € / year, you can add Advanced Support to any license: priority responses to your support requests, plus assistance with installing VyHub on your own infrastructure.

Launch offer — until August 15

To celebrate the new model, both options start with a time-limited launch discount:

• Self-hosted: 15% off all licenses — applied to the first billing period of the 1-Year and 2-Year subscriptions (renewals at the regular price) and to the one-time Lifetime price.
• Cloud: 20% off the first year of every plan; after the first year, the plan renews at the regular price.

A New Operator

To reduce administrative overhead and keep the focus on the product, VyHub is moving away from Matbyte UG to a personal company, Jakob Müller IT-Services. For you, nothing changes in day-to-day use — it's the same product with the same people behind it. This simply keeps VyHub lean and lets us put more of our time into development and support instead of paperwork. You can find the updated details in our Legal / Imprint.

Exciting Updates Ahead

This is the part we're most excited about: the restructuring frees up real time for the product, and VyHub will receive some amazing updates over the coming months. We can't share the details just yet, but there is a lot in the pipeline — stay tuned, it will be worth it. What This Means for Existing Instances

• With this change, the pricing plans of all running instances will be consolidated onto the new pricing model.
• All instances must be migrated to the new pricing by 2026-08-31.
• Free instances will no longer be available. Free instances were only possible because the revenue fee helped cover their costs — with the fee gone, we can no longer provide instances without a base fee. If you currently run a free instance, you will need to move to one of the new plans before the deadline.
• Existing lifetime cloud instances are unaffected and will continue exactly as they are.

What You Need to Do

If you run an affected instance, please migrate to the new pricing before 2026-08-31. We know a change like this asks something of you, and we want the transition to be as smooth as possible — if you have any questions or need a hand, reach out through our support channel or on Discord.
